West Ham United are keen to sign Besiktas star Manuel Fernandes after the player made it clear that he wished to return to the Premier League.
The Portuguese players has enjoyed previous loan spell at Everton and Portsmouth during his time as a Benfica player.
Sunderland and Everton are also possible destinations for the midfielder but the Hammers are favourites to sign him.
Fernandes, who scored seven times in 27 appearances last season, has been labelled as one of Portulgal’s ‘Golden Generation’.
