West Ham United have had a bid for 17-year-old Peterborough United striker Jaanai Gordon turned down.
Gordon has made three appearances for Posh this season but, according to BBC Sport, spent the last three weeks training with the Hammers.
The club were suitably impressed with the youngster and tabled a bid on Friday. But Peterborough director of football Barry Fry said it had been rejected.
