West Ham United are plotting a move for Swansea City midfielder-cum-forward, Michu, according to the Sun.

Michu, 28, enjoyed a stunning first season at the Liberty Stadium after arriving from Rayo Vallecano in 2012 but saw his second season disrupted by injury.

The former Real Oviedo forward, who has one full Spain cap, scored 18 times in the Premier League in his maiden season but netted just twice last term as the Swans struggled.

Signed from Rayo for just £2m two years ago, it is believed the 6ft1in attacker would cost around £6m if Sam Allardyce tried to prise him away from the Swans.
