West Ham United have seen an offer for Dundee United's Andy Robertson knocked back, according to the Dundee Courier.
The left-back, 20, is understood to have been subject of a £1.5m offer from the Hammers, which the Tannadice outfit have subsequently rejected.
Glasgow-born Robertson began his career with Queen's Park before moving to Dundee United in 2013.
The 5ft10in defender has represented Scotland twice, winning caps against Poland and Nigeria earlier this year.
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is prioritising a left-back after seeing Matt Taylor, George McCartney and Pablo Armero all leave Upton Park this summer.
Robertson made 44 appearances for United in all competitions last season.
