West Ham Matt Jarvis hopes to finally put his injury problems behind him and make a first-team return in the Queens Park Rangers game on Sunday, according to talkSPORT.
The winger, who missed the start of the campaign after picking up a thigh injury during pre-season, insists he is now ready to push for a starting place in the televised clash against London rivals at Upton Park.
The former Wolves forward has made a successful comeback in training, and played the full 90 minutes for the Hammers' development squad in their 2-0 win over Sunderland at Upton Park on Monday night.
Speaking to West Ham TV, Jarvis, 28, said: "It's good to get out there and get some minutes, so I'm delighted.
"I felt good on Monday. I've trained all last week and was in the squad for the Manchester United game so hopefully I'll be selected for Sunday."
