West Ham United will look to move on Ravel Morrison at a cut price in the January transfer window, according to reports.

The 21-year-old midfielder has returned from an unsuccessful loan stay at Cardiff City early, and according to the Daily Mail, Sam Allardyce will attempt to sell the troublesome midfielder in January.

Morrison has not made a league appearance for the Hammers since the end of August and joined the Championship Bluebirds for three months at the end of September.

The former Manchester United starlet has since made just one start for Russell Slade's side, with the majority of his appearances coming from the substitute's bench.

There is an £18 million release clause written into his contract but it is understood the England Under-21 cap will be allowed to leave Upton Park for significantly less than that.

Morrison ended last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers, helping the R's win promotion to the Premier League, but has fallen down the pecking order at West Ham after impressing at the beginning of last season.
