Out-of-favour West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison will complete a switch to Lazio at the end of the season, according to Sky Sports News.

The 21-year-old midfielder is no longer wanted at Upton Park by Sam Allardyce and has been heavily linked with a move to the Serie A club during the January transfer window.

With his contract at the club up in June, the former Manchester United starlet is now expected to join the Rome outfit on a free transfer when his existing deal expires.

Morrison left the Hammers on a temporary basis in September to join Cardiff City on loan, but returned to Upton Park early after making just one league start for the Blubirds.

The England Under-21 cap impressed on loan at Queens Park Rangers last season, scoring six times in 17 outings, but also frustrated in equal measure as former West Ham boss Harry Redknappy helped the R's back into the Premier League.
