West Ham United’s experienced striker Carlton Cole could be on his way to West Bromwich Albion, according Sky Sports News.
The 31-year-old is a potential replacement for Albion's £10 millon record signing, Brown Ideye, who has failed to live up expectations after becoming the club's record signing and is expected to exit the Hawthorns today.
Cole, a Hammer for over seven years across two spells, has started just 12 games this season, scoring twice.
The east Londoners may be reluctant to let Cole go, however, after seeing a bid to sign Swansea striker Bafetimbi Gomis rejected earlier today.
