Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac has emerged as another deadline day target for West Ham.

The Telegraph is reporting co-chairman David Sullivan has flown to France to hold talks over the forward potentially moving to Upton Park until the end of the season.

The move comes following reports that Carlton Cole could be on his way to West Bromwich Albion, leaving Sam Allardyce's forward options restricted.

The Hammers have already seen a bid for Swansea’s Bafetimbi Gomis rejected but are also reported to have made an offer for Spurs’ Emmanuel Adebayor.

French international Gignac has scored more than 50 goals in approaching 150 appearances for Marseille.
