Lassana Diarra could be set to join West Ham United: Action Images
West Ham United are reportedly close to signing former Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Lassana Diarra on a short-term deal.
The 29-year-old, who also had a spell with Real Madrid, has been training with the Hammers in a bid to earn a contract.
Diarra is currently a free agent after being sacked by previous club Lokomotiv Moscow at the start of the season following a dispute with coach Leonid Kuchuk.
