West Ham United are planning to bid £9 million for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez according to the Daily Mail.

Hernandez spent last season on loan at Spanish giants Real Madrid and his future at Man United is uncertain.

The 27-year-old has been linked to a move to the MLS with Orlando City and West Ham will almost certainly face competition from other clubs to sign the Mexican international.

‘Chicarito’ netted seven goals last season including the winning goal in the Champions league semi-final against Atletico Madrid.

And the former Guadalajara poached has also grabbed 37 goals in his 103 appearances for United over four seasons at the club.
