West Ham United co-owner David Gold has revealed via Twitter he hopes striker Andy Carroll will be fit by September.
The England international is currently sidelined, this time with a knee ligament injury which will see him miss the start of the Premier League season.
But replying to a fan's question on Twitter, Gold has revealed the 26-year-old could be back in time to start training once more in September.

Carroll, who joined for £15 million from Liverpool in June 2013 has only made 24 league starts since his arrival at Upton Park on a permanent basis owing to a string of injuries.
