West Ham United are hopeful striker Andy Carroll could make his comeback from injury against former club Newcastle United next Monday.
The Hammers have been without the target man this season as he has been sidelined with a knee ligament injury.
But Carroll is back in training and the striker could be named on the bench for next week's Premier League fixture.
