West Ham United star Dimitri Payet has described his omission from the France squad as an injustice.
Payet has been a big hit since joining this summer scoring four goals and providing three assists. But his form has not been enough to earn a place in the national squad since the defeat to Albania in June.
The attacker told L'Equipe: “I feel feel like an injustice, yes. For more than a year I am at the best level of my career even if I can still get better.
"Therefore for me, it is unjust for me not to be in the French team.
He added: “Whose fault is it? A bit of mine because I am not doing what they want of me but there is maybe something else. What? I don't know. I hear rumours that I am frowned upon. You have to take me as I am.
"If you ask all my coaches, I don't think they are going to say to you: 'Dimitri, he is an idiot'. The thing that I cannot accept is the injustice.”
