West Ham United boss Slaven Bilić has confirmed Diafra Sakho will not be fit for Saturday’s match at home to Everton due to injury.
Bilic told the club website: “It’s nothing major; he felt something after training last week and has a small tear in his thigh. He should be fit for the game after the international break.”
But Alex Song, who has been training with West Ham since before the Watford game, is injury free.
Bilić said: “He’s been with us for a week and now it’s just a matter of match fitness. He will play in the friendly game we have on Wednesday.”
Winston Reid is also back after a minor injury and will join the squad for the match. Bilić has also mentioned the potential return of Enner Valencia.
The Croatian said: “He is getting closer to being able to start; we’ve got options in that position.”
