West Ham United are reportedly keen to bolster their striking options with the signing of Roma’s Seydou Doumbia.
The 27-year old Ivorian forward is being sold by i Giallorossi, who could take the Hammers up on their offer to recoup some of their investment, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Signed just before the 2015 January transfer window from CSKA Moscow, Doumbia made just 13 Serie A appearances, scoring twice, before he returned to Russia on loan for the 2015/16 season.
Doumbia cost Roma €14.4 million plus €1.5 million in bonus' but Roma are now keen to move the striker on for good and West Ham could provide a escape route.
