West Ham United goalkeeper Darren Randolph admitted he could not have written the script any better after helping the Republic of Ireland qualify for Euro 2016.
The Hammers shot stopper kept a clean sheet in their 2-0 home win over Bosnia-Herzegovina last night which sealed a 3-1 victory on aggregate.
The 28-year-old said: "It's unbelievable. I don't think I could have written the script better myself.
"I didn't see it ending with me playing but thankfully I've got to play some games and we're through and that's all that matters."
The Irish opened the scoring when Jon Walters scored a first-half penalty and the Stoke attacker scored again after the break to spark wild celebrations.
Randolph also played the full game of the Republic of Ireland's 1-1 draw in the first leg in Zenica on Friday night.
Robbie Brady's effort was cancelled out by a late goal from Edin Dzeko.
