West Ham’s FA Cup sixth round replay against Manchester United will be played on Wednesday, April 13 with a 7pm kick off.
The Hammers have been in “extensive discussions” over a date for the replay following the 1-1 draw in the initial tie at Old Trafford when Dimitri Payet’s free-kick was cancelled out by an Anthony Martial goal, but there were “limited options available”.
FA Chief Executive Martin Glenn said: “We have worked closely with all parties concerned to come up with the best possible outcome. In so doing, we have sought to take into account the needs of fans, clubs, leagues and broadcasters – and balanced these considerations against the wider fixture schedule.”
The winners of the tie will meet Everton in the semi-final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, April 23.
