West Ham United are weighing up a move for Ligue 1 striker Alassane Plea as they look to strengthen their squad this summer.

Le10Sport reported the Hammers are impressed with his productive start to last season where the 23-year-old scored twice in the first three games for Nice.

Despite having a knee injury which ruled him out of action for four months, the French player managed six goals and four assists in 19 appearances.

He can also play on the wing which could be vital to the east London club as the club want to bolster up their attacking options ahead of the 2016-17 season.
