West Ham are scouting out the possibility of signing Arsenal’s Theo Walcott as the Gunners look to sign Jamie Vardy.
The London Evening Standard reported the east London club are willing to offer Arsenal in the region of £25m for the England international.
It is believed the 27-year-old has grown frustrated at the lack of first-team football during the second half of the 2015-16 season.
The Hammers are looking to bolster up their squad ahead of next season and the north London club are unlikely to sanction Walcott’s departure until the Vardy switch is confirmed.
If Vardy does sign for the Gunners it would demote Walcott further down the pecking order when he is in search of more game time.
