West Ham striker Diafra Sakho wants to leave the club this summer according to Sky Sports.

The report from Sky claims that Sakho spoke to Hammers boss Slaven Bilic over the weekend and asked to be sold ahead of the new season.

Sakho moved to the East London club in the summer of 2014 from Metz and he was the Hammers’ top scorer in the 2014/15 season, notching 12 goals in 26 games.

However last season, the striker found goals harder to come by, as he scored just seven times.

Sky are now claiming Sakho wants to leave West Ham after just two seasons with the club and they also state that Sunderland are interested in signing him.

A move to the Stadium of Light would see the 26-year-old striker link up with former West Ham boss Sam Allardyce, who signed Sakho during his time with the club.
