WEST Ham United lost their first game on their pre-season tour of the United States as they lost 3-0 to MLS side Seattle Sounders yesterday.
Seattle’s Jordan Morris scored twice after coming on as a second half substitute, while Herculez Gomez scored from the penalty spot before the break.
Gomez opened the scoring with the penalty as he sent Adrian the wrong way before Morris added two in the second half.
Morris scored his first after Oalex Anderson’s shot was blocked only for him to slide home the rebound.
Two minutes later, he added another when he collected an assist by Joevlin Hones as he blasted the ball home into the back of the net from seven yards.
The 21-year-old is Seattle’s leading goal scorer as they currently sit ninth in the 10-team league.
