ALAN Curbishley has swooped to make his second summer signing of the summer, writes craig Rodhouse.
The West Ham manager has completed the signing of Hungarian striker Balint Bajner after the 17-year-old impressed whilst on trial with the Hammers.
Bajner joins Holmar Orn Eyjolffson at Upton Park this summer as Curbishley seems to be relying on youth more than experience in the upcoming season after completing the signings of the two youngsters.
The Hammers boss could however have made one of the signing's of the summer, as the former Liberty Oradea striker has also had trials with Italian giants Lazio and Inter Milan, both of whom where also reportedly interested in acquiring the youngster's services.
And Bajner was clearly delighted with his move to the east Londoners.
"I'm very happy, but I want to focus on the European Championship at the moment," Bajner told skysports.com "My dream came true with this transfer."
And it seems that it was the lure of English football that tempted him to join the Irons.
He added: "I was on trial at Lazio and Inter Milan, but in May I had the chance to go to West Ham.
"The atmosphere and conditions were great at all the places, but English football had the biggest affect on me."
