WEST Ham appear on the verge of signing Swiss midfielder Valon Behrami from Lazio.
Reports in Italy suggest the Hammers are with in touching distance of completing a £5.2million deal, despite interest from around Europe.
The player's agent, Alessandro Beltrami, confirmed to skysports.com, that he is now waiting to see where his client ends up.
He said: "West Ham? We are waiting but there is a possibility.
"The player has had many requests and so we will see."
