WALES boss John Toshack insists he is excited about the talent of West Ham midfielder Jack Collison.
The 20-year-old is in-line to start tonight's friendly against Denmark in what could be one of the youngest Wales sides in history.
However, Toshack is eager to see what the likes of Collison and Arsenal's 17-year-old prodigy Aaron Ramsey have to offer.
“They have brought a level of enthusiasm with them,” John Toshack, the Wales manager, said. “When I watch them in training there is a real zip about them. What they lack in experience they make up with enthusiasm.”
There has been a great deal of fuss made about Ramsey, who will make his debut in Brondby if he starts this evening, and Hammers striker and compatriot Craig Bellamy insists Wales have not experienced hype like it since the arrival of Ryan Giggs on the international scene.
“I cannot recall as much fuss about a young Wales player since Ryan Giggs,” Bellamy said. “I don't want to put too much pressure on him, but everyone is very excited about him and that includes me.”
