West Ham midfielder Mark Noble believes the club need to make up to six signings if they want to win promotion back to the Premier League.

The Hammers have already signed Abdoulaye Faye and Kevin Nolan during the summer but Noble thinks more players are needed if they are to make an immediate return to the top flight.

The 24-year-old told the Sun: "I am confident about the new season but, obviously, we need to sign a lot more players.

"We've got to make five or six signings - good quality signings."
