Carlton Cole fired West Ham to a 1-0 friendly win at Dagenham and Redbridge this evening.
The England striker's first-half goal was enough to give the Hammers the win over their rivals.
Matt Taylor was handed his debut following his move from Bolton at the weekend.
The visitors netted the winning goal after 35 minutes when Cole picked up the ball and scored from an acute angle.
West Ham came under some late pressure but managed to keep their third consecutive clean sheet.
Their final warm-up game is at Upton Park on Saturday when they entertain Real Zaragoza.
