West Ham defender Jordan Spence has joined Bristol City on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old made 11 appearances at Ashton Gate last season on a two-month loan. The Hammers have the option of recalling him in January.
Spence told BBC Radio Bristol: "It wasn't a reluctant thing to come back, it was a great opportunity and I'm ecstatic to be back.
"I have the ambition to be a West Ham player and be in the starting XI but I also have the ambition to play from the start of the season."
