West Ham have completed the signing of Nicky Maynard, David Gold has confirmed.

The Hammers co-owner used Twitter to announce the deal shortly before the transfer window closed at 11pm and said: "I am pleased to advise all West Ham fans that we have just signed Nicky Maynard from Bristol City. More details later."

The forward moves to Upton Park for a fee reported to be worth £1.65m and joins Ravel Morrison and Ricardo Vaz Te as the Hammers' third signing of deadline day.
