WEST Ham have reportedly made an enquiry about Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard.

The 29-year-old played a key role for the west Londoners as they avoided the drop last season.

But, according to The People, the Cottagers are now ready to cash in on the talented playmaker.

That has alerted the Hammers, who would see him as an ideal summer signing, although Aston Villa are also believed to be interested.

It is thought a bid in the region of £3million should be enough to prise him away from Craven Cottage.

Newham-born playmaker Bullard was a trainee at the Hammers, but failed to make an appearance before being shipped off to Peterborough United.
