Miley Cyrus was due to play Dracula's teenage daughter Mavis
Miley Cyrus has apparently left the cast of animated vampire film Hotel Transylvania.
The Hannah Montana star was due to voice Dracula's teen daughter Mavis, but E! Online reports that she is no longer attached to the project.
A source said Miley decided to take some more time to work out where she wants to take her movie career.
A rep for Adam Sandler, who will be playing Dracula, told E! that Miley's Disney pal Selena Gomez will be taking over as Mavis.
Kevin James, Steve Buscemi and David Spade will also voice characters in the 3D family film.
It sees Dracula build the Hotel Transylvania for monsters and their families, as a way of keeping his daughter from venturing out into the real world. Things start to go wrong when a regular guy (voiced by Andy Samberg) ends up at the hotel.
