Swansea striker Jason Scotland's switch to Wigan has moved a step closer after the two clubs agreed a transfer fee.
The Latics lodged an official bid with the Swans on Tuesday and chairman Huw Jenkins said he and the board needed a couple of days to consider it.
It has now been accepted and the player will discuss personal terms, although that is unlikely to be a stumbling block.
Wigan boss Roberto Martinez already has a close relationship with the Trinidad and Tobago international having managed him at the Liberty Stadium before he moved to Wigan to replace Steve Bruce as manager.
Scotland is set to become the Spaniard's third signing since he took over last month after midfielders Jordi Gomez, whom Martinez had on loan at Swansea last season, was bought from Espanyol and Honduras international Hendry Thomas arrived from Deportivo Olimpia.
