TEENAGE girls are being urged not to go out at night alone after a sex attacker is believed to have struck twice in a week.

A 13-year-old girl was forcibly kissed on the cheek by a man after he followed her along Wood Street, Walthamstow, on Wednesday, September 12.

In another incident on Tuesday, September 18, the same man is believed to have followed a 26-year-old woman along Greville Road before pushing her against a wall and groping her bottom. He blew kisses at her after the attack.

Investigating officer, PC Edward Hickford, said the attacker preys on teenage girls who are slight in stature and aged in their early teens.

He added in the case of the 26-year-old she looked young for her age.

"I would advise parents to ask their teenage daughters to be accompanied if they are going out in the dark because both the victims were alone when they were attacked," he said.

The man is described as Asian, aged between 25 and 30 years-old, 5ft 06ins tall, slim, with dark brown hair in a crew cut style with light stubble.

Anyone with information about the incidents should call PC Hickford on 8345 3276.
