Waltham Forest Police ask for help in tracing Thomas Edward Evans last known to have been living in Chingford Lane, Woodford Green

POLICE are appealing for the public's help in tracing a man who is wanted on recall to prison.

Thomas Edward Evans, 27, was last known to be living in Chingford Lane, Woodford Green.

He was originally sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison in September 2010 after bring convicted of theft and attempted theft from a number of automated ticket machines on railway platforms.

Evans and two accomplices used crowbars to break into the machines causing around £15,000 worth of damage in the process.

Evans was released on license in April 2012 and is now wanted on recall to prison having failed to comply with his conditions of release.

In the past he has frequented the Walthamstow and Chingford areas.
