WANSTEAD: Community group to hold free park tours

NATURE lovers can find out more about the parks and green spaces of Wanstead during a free guided tour next weekend.

The Parklands of Wanstead walk, on Sunday, November 15, will include information about the history and habitat of Christchurch Green, Wanstead Park, Bush Wood and Hollow Ponds.

The tour, which has been organised by the Wanstead Society, will be led by a qualified guide with extensive knowledge of the area.

Walkers should meet outside Somerfield supermarket in the High Street at 11am - with the event due to finish at 1.30pm.
