A TEENAGER was injured when the scooter he was driving crashed with a car in Chingford.
The victim hurt his hand and ankle in the smash, which happened in the Ridgeway near the junction with St Egbert's Way, just before 5pm yesterday (Thursday).
He was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital by ambulance, but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
There were no other reports of any injuries.
The road remained blocked for around an hour after the crash.
The teen's exact age was not established at the scene.
