A HUGE fire which ripped through an industrial estate six months ago was started accidentally in a motor garage, an investigation has concluded.
The Good Friday inferno (April 22) at the Kimberley Road estate by Billet Road, Walthamstow, burnt for four days and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Around 50 vehicles were destroyed, dozens of businesses affected and many homes evacuated, although no-one was injured.
The London Fire Brigade has now said they are confident it was not started deliberately. It is thought over-heated equipment may have been to blame.
