A SEARCH and rescue charity has received a boost through Lottery funding.
Search Dogs Essex, which trains animals to follow the scent of a missing person for up to 24 hours, has been awarded £4,500 by the Big Lottery Fund.
The grant means that more dogs will be trained to trace people across the county, according to its chairwoman, Karin Jung.
