The Council of the London Borough of Haringey, in consultation with the London Boroughs of Haringey, Islington and Hackney and Transport for London, hereby give notice that to facilitate the holding of the Finsbury Park Festival Republic Community and Wireless special events it intends to make an Order under Section 16(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

On the following dates and times, the general effect of the Order will be:

SCHEDULE 1 - PROHIBITED ENTRY (entry to the following roads and lengths of road will be prohibited between 21.30 hours and 23:30 hours on 5th and 6th July 2019 between 21:00 hours and 23:00 hours on 30th June and 7th July 2019 or at such times as the appropriate traffic signs are in place except for essential access)

The match/event day restrictions will apply in Finsbury Park, Finsbury Park B and Finsbury Park C controlled parking zones from 8:30 hours to 20:30 hours on 5th and 6th July 2019 and from 12 noon to 16:30 hours on 30th June 2019 and 7th July 2019. Waiting and loading for all vehicles except for those displaying valid zone permits will be restricted in these zones between the hours of 8:30 hours and 12 noon and between 16:30 hours and 20:30 hours on 30th June 2019 and 7th July 2019.

The prohibitions and restrictions specified in Articles 2 and 3 above, shall only apply during such times and to such extent as may be indicated by appropriate traffic signs or directed by a police constable in uniform or a civil enforcement officer and essential vehicular access for residents, frontages, authorised vehicles connected with the event and emergency service vehicles will be maintained as far as possible in relation to the road closures specified in Schedule 1.
