CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS PARK ROAD AND WHITEHORSE LANE, SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecoms works they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Park Road and Whitehorse Lane, South Norwood.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) Park Road will be closed southbound at its junction with Whitehorse Lane,



b) Vehicles proceeding in Park Road will be prohibited from turning right into Whitehorse Lane.



3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Whitehorse Road, Hogarth Crescent, Northcote Road and Selhurst Road, as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 12 August 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out with 4 days between 9.30am and 2.30pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 NORBURY CRESCENT AND ST.HELEN'S ROAD, NORBURY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING & TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking and pedestrian traffic in Norbury Crescent and St. Helen's Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking in Norbury Crescent and St Helen's Road will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in the following locations:-



a) Six parking spaces within the free two-hour parking bay opposite Nos. 8 to 14 St. Helen's Road.



b) The unrestricted carriageway in Norbury Crescent and St. Helen's Road from a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 55 and 57 Norbury Crescent to the common boundary of Nos. 12 and 14 St. Helen's Road.



3. The south-eastern footway of St. Helen's Road will be closed outside Rosebury Court, No. 16 St. Helen's Road, and pedestrians will be provided with a walkway in the carriageway.



4. The Order will come into operation on 12 August 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately three days between 8am and 5pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 ST. OSWALD'S ROAD, NORBURY TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting and cabling works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in St. Oswald's Road.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) St. Oswald's Road will be closed between its junction with Green Lane and the north-eastern flank wall of St. Oswald's Church.



b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in St Oswald's Road between the junction with



Green Lane and the party wall of Nos. 7 and 9 St Oswald's Road.

3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion routes for traffic will be as detailed below.



a) From St Oswald's Road - via Brickfield Road, Virginia Road, Green Lane, Croft Road and Bigginwood Road.



b) From St Oswald's Road - via Bigginwood Road, Croft Road, Green Lane, Virginia Road and Brickfield Road.



4. The Order will come into operation on 09 August 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately five days between 8am and 6pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS SANDOWN ROAD, COULSDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a bridge examination on a network rail bridge, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Sandown Road, Coulsdon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Sandown Road 20 metres either side of the railway bridge.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Chipstead Valley Road, St Andrews Road and Woodmansterne Road as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 12 September 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SPA HILL, UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate ducting works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic and parking in Spa Hill.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



a) Spa Hill will be closed between its junction with Beulah Hill and the common boundary of Beulah Spa Restaurant, Spa Hill and No. 64 Spa Hill.



b) Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in Spa Hill and adjacent roads as necessary to facilitate a diversion route.



3. Whilst the closure is in place the diversion route for traffic will be via Beulah Hill, Spurgeon Road, Waddington Way and Spa Hill as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 23 August 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately two nights between 8pm and 5am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

COLLIERS WATER LANE, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential Thames Water works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular parking in Colliers Water Lane, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place,



a) Parking suspensions will be in place outside and opposite No.44 to No.54 Colliers Water Lane;



b) Parking suspensions will be in place at its junctions with Weybridge Road and Colliers Water Lane;



c) Any other traffic management measures required to facilitate the Thames Water works in progress.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 23 August 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 week. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS WICKHAM ROAD AND SPRING PARK ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the installation of TFL Electric charging points, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic in Wickham Road and Spring Park Road, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place,



a) Spring Park Road will be closed at its junction with Wickham Road;



b) Parking suspensions will be in place outside and opposite No.178 to No.186 Wickham Road;



c) Any other traffic management measures required to facilitate the installation works.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 15 September 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 1 week. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

CROYDON COUNCIL DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 202 The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.9) Traffic Order 2019

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 05 August 2019 made the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Order will be to designate new parking places at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in:



Elliott Road, Thornton Heath Outside No. 36 and partially across the frontage of No. 38

Tanfield Road, Croydon Outside No. 11 and partially across the



frontage of No. 13 (replaces existing permit/P&D bay)

Tennison Road, South Outside No. 146 and partially across



Norwood the frontage of No. 144 (two wheels up



on footway)

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 12 August 2019 and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CR0 1EA.



4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, 6th Floor Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CR0 1EA.
