LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST CYCLE TRACKS ACT 1984 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST (FOOTPATH BETWEEN SOUTH GROVE E17 AND HOVE AVENUE E17) CYCLE TRACKS ORDER 2019

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the above-mentioned Order (hereinafter referred to as "the Order"), made on 8th August 2019, is about to be submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, or to be confirmed by the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest as an unopposed Order.



2. The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modification, is to designate the whole width and length of the footpath situated between Hove Avenue E17 and South Grove E17 (known as footpaths FP23 and FP24 Public Rights of Way) as a shared use right of way footpath for cyclists and pedestrians.



3. A copy of the Order and the plan contained within it has been deposited at (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17; and (b) The Reception Desk, London Borough of Waltham Forest, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS and can be inspected free of charge during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive.



4. Any representation or objection with respect to the Order must be sent in writing to Traffic Orders, Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS quoting the reference T41a(19) - Markhouse - walking and cycling - FP23 and FP24 not later than 5th September 2019 and shall state the grounds on which it is made.



5. If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation, confirm the Order itself as an unopposed Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for confirmation, any representations and objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent to the Secretary of State with the Order.
