CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

BENSHAM LANE, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to install telecommunications equipment, they have made an Order to the effect of which would be to temporarily close the footway and restrict parking in Bensham Lane, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



(a) parking in Bensham Lane will be suspended on the north-east side between No.299 Bensham Lane to the junction of Lakehall Road;



(b) the north-eastern footway of Bensham Lane will be closed between No.299 Bensham Lane and the junction of Lakehall Road.



3. The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within three working days between 9.30am and 15.30pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer. 19 September 2019 Mike Barton

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS BREAKFIELD, COULSDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecommunications tower upgrade, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit parking in Breakfield, Coulsdon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to wait in Breakfield, even for the purposes of loading or unloading goods at any time between No.28 Breakfield to its junction with Ullswater Crescent.



3. The restriction will not apply to any vehicles carrying out the said works, any vehicles being used for police, ambulance or fire service purposes, or to anything done with the permission of a uniformed police officer.



4. The Order will come into operation on 28 October 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in approximately 1 day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 BROCKLESBY ROAD, SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY CLOSURE

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate repairs to a service pipe on behalf of Thames Water, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Brocklesby Road, South Norwood.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place Brocklesby Road will be closed outside No. 8 Brocklesby Road.



3. During the closure access to properties will be maintained,



4. The Order will come into operation on 04 October 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(b) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 DUNHEVED ROAD SOUTH, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate works to connect a gas main and install a new service to properties, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Dunheved Road South, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time' in the following locations:-



a) Between the north-eastern boundary of Dunheved Court and the common boundary of Nos. 12 and 14 Dunheved Road South;



b) Outside Nos. 1 to 11 Dunheved Road South.



3. The Order will come into operation on 07 October 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within ten days, between 8am and 4pm each day. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 GRANGE ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Grange Road, Upper Norwood.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time' on both sides of Grange Road between No.262 to No.328 Grange Road.



3 The Order will come into operation on 07 October 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within approximately 7 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

4. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR AND PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular and pedestrian traffic movements in Longheath Gardens.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place,



(a) the north-eastern most arm of Longheath Gardens will be closed at the junction with the north to south arm of Longheath Gardens;



(b) footway closures will be temporarily introduced outside 251 Longheath Gardens.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via local streets as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 20 September 2019 and the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should



further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

NORBURY ROAD, THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict parking in Norbury Road, Thornton Heath.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, temporary waiting and loading restrictions will be introduced 'At any time' outside No.39 to No.53 and No.56 to No.74 Norbury Road.



3. The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 8 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.



4. The restriction will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 16A AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION (SPECIAL EVENTS) ACT 1994 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER PLAY STREET CLOSURES - HIGH VIEW ROAD AND ORLEANS ROAD, UPPER NORWOOD

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that they intend to make a Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to close High View Road and Orleans Road to vehicular traffic on the dates and at the times specified in the Schedule to this notice, to facilitate a play street.



2. During the dates and times specified in paragraph (5) to this Notice no person shall cause any vehicle to enter or proceed:-



(a) In High View Road between the common boundary of Nos. 13 and 15 High View Road and the junction with Orleans Road;



(b) In Orleans Road between the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 8 Orleans Road and the common boundary of Nos. 38 and 40 Orleans Road.



3. The provisions of the Order will not prevent access being maintained for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which this Order relates, or to any other premises accessible from, and only from, such a road.



4. Nothing in the Order shall apply:



a) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform;



b) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.



5. The Order will come into effect on Sunday 03 November 2019 between 2.30pm and 5.30pm and will be reintroduced each Sunday at the same times up to and including 01 November 2020.
