PUBLIC NOTICE - HARINGEY COUNCIL PROPOSED DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES, AND PROPOSED REMOVAL OF, EXISTING DISABLED PARKING PLACES - VARIOUS ROADS
THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO 4) ORDER 2019 AND VARIOUS LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE AMENDMENT ORDERS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey on 1st October 2019 made the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to: -

(i) introduce new disabled persons' parking places, up to a maximum of 6.6 metres in length, in which vehicles displaying a valid disabled persons' 'blue badge' will be permitted to park, (unless otherwise stated) either outside of, or adjacent to the following properties: -

No. 7 Almond Road, N17; No. 1A Beechwood Road, N8; Burghley Road N8, along the flank wall No. 58 Turnpike Lane; No. 19 Curzon Road, N10; No. 144 Gladstone Avenue N22; opposite No. 276 Gladstone Avenue, N22; No. 71 Maryland Road, N22; No. 57 Risley Avenue, N17; St. James Lane N10, along the flank wall of No. 33 Muswell Hill; No. 69 Steeds Road, N10; No. 229 Wightman Road N8; No. 51 Wellington Avenue N15; No. 156 Weston Park, N8;
(ii) relocate an existing disabled parking bay from outside No. 74 Wightman Road N8 to outside No. 78 Wightman Road N4;

(iii) remove disabled parking bays outside (unless otherwise stated) of the following properties: -

No. 19 Berners Road, N22; No. 23 Berners Road, N22; No. 25 Berners Road, N22; No. 5 Chandos Road, N17; No. 11 Chester Road, N17; No. 62 Dukes Avenue, N10; No. 13 Franklin Street, N15; No. 86 Hampden Road, N8; No. 162 Higham Road, N17; No. 96 Marlborough Road, N22.
3. Copies of the Orders referred to above, which will come into force on 3rd October 2019, of plans which indicate the locations and effects of the Orders, and of a Statement of Reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, at

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it does not comply with the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
