HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE VARIOUS LOCATIONS - PROPOSED INTRODUCTION/ AMENDMENT/REMOVAL OF WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES THE HARINGEY (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 201* THE HARINGEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (DISABLED PERSONS) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO *) ORDER 201* AND VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE AMENDMENT ORDERS T58
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: -
a) introduce double yellow line waiting restrictions operating at any time at the following locations:
i. Norfolk Avenue N13 and Devonshire Hill Lane N13 at their junction;
ii. St James's Lane N10, outside No. 80A;
iii. Devonshire Gardens N17, outside Nos. 8 & 12;
iv. Hampstead Lane N6, south side, outside Beechwood Bungalow and north side, between Ingleholme and the existing bus stop outside the Pavilion;
v. Methuen Park N10 and Muswell Road N10 at their junction;
vi. Devonshire Gardens N17, outside Nos. 8 to 18;
b) convert an existing uncontrolled parking area outside the probation office in Lordship Lane N17 into permit holders and pay by phone shared use operation, operating at Bruce Grove North controlled parking zone hours;
c) extend operational hours of an existing loading bay outside Nos. 404 to 410 Muswell Hill Broadway from 10am - 6.30pm to 6.30pm - 7am, and extend its length to outside No. 412 Muswell Hill Broadway;
d) introduce no waiting and no loading restrictions operating at any time in Bounds Green Road N22, both sides, from its junction with High Road to its junction with Northcott Avenue and Partridge Way N22;
e) extend existing single yellow line waiting restriction by 1 metre and reduce the length of an existing parking place by 1 metres outside No. 10 Hampden Road N17.
3. Copies of the proposed Orders, and of the Council's statement of reasons for making the Orders, and plans showing the location and effect of the Orders may be inspected during normal office working hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or can be viewed online at
4. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to the Traffic Management Group, River Park House, 1 st floor, 225, High Road, Wood Green, N22 8HQ or to
21 days from the date of this Notice.
