THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST (STOPPING UP OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH) (NO. 1) ORDER 2019
The above order was made on 25 October 2019 by the London Borough of Waltham Forest. The effect of the order will be to stop up:
- the full length of public footpath 53 known as Duke's Passage running from its junction with Shernhall Street E17 to a point 4.9 metres west of Marlowe Road and as described on the Definitive Map and Statement as:
"Ordnance Survey Sheet No: 38NE (formerly 78 NW)
Position & Description: From Shernhall Street in a north-easterly direction to Marlowe Road
Remarks: width varies from 8' - 9'. Illuminated. Surface paved"
in order to enable development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by the London Borough of Waltham Forest on 20 September 2016 under reference 151652/FUL. Alternative routes will be provided as part of the development.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen during normal office hours at: (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17; and (b) Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS free of charge.
Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent in writing to Legal Services, Waltham Forest Town Hall, Forest Road, London, E17 4JF (Ref: NHP.328/JW/Dukes) not later than 28 November 2019. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If opposed, the order will be sent to the Secretary of State for Transport for confirmation and any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
