THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST
hereby gives notice that it has made an order under Section 247 (2A) of the above Act entitled the London Borough of Waltham Forest (Stopping Up of Highways) (No. 1) Order 2020 to authorise the stopping up of the following area of public highway which is shown hatched black and edged red on the plan attached to the order and comprising 615 sqm:
(a) The area of public highway known as Duke's Passage running for 219.4 linear metres from its junction with Shernhall Street to a point 4.9 metres west of Marlowe Road formed of one long thin rectangular shaped area with a width of 3.0m.
THE ORDER IS MADE to enable development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest on 20 September 2016 under reference 151652/FUL
COPIES OF THE ORDER AND THE RELEVANT PLANS MAY BE INSPECTED during normal office hours at (a) The Information Desk, Town Hall, Forest Road, Walthamstow, E17; and (b) Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS free of charge
ANY PERSON aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of 20 February 2020 apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.
