BRIGHTON & HOVE VARIOUS CONTROLLED PARKING ZONES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2018 AMENDMENT NO.5 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ("the Council") has on 13 May 2020 made the above named Order under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into operation on 18 May 2020 will make permanent the following changes:
- Removing a section of loading ban on Dyke Road on the north-east side between Church Street and Upper North Street
- Introducing a bus stand for local buses only on the same section.
The changes described above were originally the subject of an experimental traffic order that was advertised on 15 April 2019; Brighton & Hove (Dyke Road) Waiting Restrictions Experimental Order 2019 (Ref: TRO-12-2019). A copy of this Notice, the Order as made, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be seen online at http://www.brighton-hovegov.uk/tro-finalised. Any person who wishes to question the validity the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
