HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF SPEED HUMPS IN BELMONT ROAD, LANGHAM ROAD AND VINCENT ROAD N17

HARINGEY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF SPEED HUMPS IN BELMONT ROAD, LANGHAM ROAD AND VINCENT ROAD N17

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Harlngey, under Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 proposes to introduce speed humps as detailed below.



2. It is proposed that-



(a) speed humps would be introduced in:-

(i) Belmont Road N17,



a. along the flank wall of Nos. 408 and 410 West Green Road;



b. outside Nos. 15 and 14/16 Belmont Road;



c. outside Nos. 27 and 24 Belmont Road;



d. outside Nos. 33 and 35, and 28 and 30 Belmont Road;



(ii) Langham Road N17,



a. along the flank walls of Nos. 40 and 42 Belmont Road;



b. outside Nos. 44 and 46, and 37 and 39 Langham Road;



c. outside Nos. 34 and 31 Langham Road;



d. outside Nos. 16 and 18, and 13 Langham Road;



e. along the flank wall of No. 306 west Green Road;



(iii) Vincent Road N17,



a. outside No. 35 Vincent Road and along the flank wall of No. 31 Langham Road;



b. outside No. 16 and along the flank wall of No. 2 Linden Road;



c. outside Nos. 23 and 10 Vincent Road;



d. outside No. 1 and alongside the flank wall of Nos. 384/386 West Green Road.



The speed humps would be approximately 4 metres in length, including the ramps. They would be 75 millimetres in height, with gradients of 1:15 to 1:20 on the ramps and would extend across the full width of the carriageway;

3. Plans showing the locations of the speed humps may be inspected for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice during normal office working hours at the reception desk, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR, by appointment only, or can be viewed online at

www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders

.



4. Any person desiring to object to the proposals should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, or their representation, to the Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 5th Floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR or to

traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk

within 21 days from the date of this Notice.
