20 M.P.H. ZONE - VARIOUS TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES-
(T31(20))
The Waltham Forest (20 m.p.h. Zone) (Drysdale E4 region) (No. *) Speed Limit Order 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council, in accordance with Sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980, the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 as amended, proposes to:

(a) introduce new speed humps in:

i. Boardman Avenue (BHD) between (1) Nos. 76 and 80 BRD (x1), (2) Nos. 41 and 56 BRD (x1), (3) Nos. 23 and 36 BRD (x1) and (4) adjacent Nos. 9 and 11 Yardley Lane (x1);

ii. Epping Way (EPP) between Nos. 20 and 28 EPP (x1);

Mi. Hawkwood Crescent (HWK): between Nos. 75 and 81 HWK (x1)
(b) introduce a raised speed table at the junction of:

i. Deerleap Grove and Boardman Avenue ('crossroads);

ii. Drysdale Avenue (DA) and its respective junction with:

a. Hawkwood Crescent (HC) (T intersection - between Nos. 35 and 43 HC and 'into Drysdale Avenue)

b. Epping Way (crossroads - between the side walls of Nos. 82 and 67 and 52 and 80 DA)

c. Margaret Avenue (T intersection - between Nos. 34 and 40 DA and 'into Margaret Avenue)

III. in Kings Head Hill (KHH) outside Homebush House (standalone
- between Nos. 183/185 and 187/189 KHH no intersection); 'unless otherwise stated between properties, each table will extend up to a distance of 10 metres into each road situated at a junction intersection or crossroads mentioned, or if a standalone table, up to 12 metres in length;
(c) introduce raised junction entry/exit treatment in Sewardstone Gardens (approx.15 x 14 metre lengths), Yardley Lane (up to 12 metres in length) and Hawkwood Crescent (up to 14 metres in length), all from their respective junction with Sewardstone Road;

The road/speed humps and tables would be elevated sections of carriageway, between 75 and 100 millimetres higher at their highest point than the surrounding carriageway, extending across the full width of the carriageway. All lengths mentioned in 1(a) to (c) above include the gradients.
2. NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Council under section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 and the Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 proposes to create a speed table on all "Zebra', signalised or unregulated pedestrian crossing points in Kings Head Hill (KHH) between Sewardstone Road and Pole Hill Road at the following locations

a. between Holly Drive and Hawksmouth

b. adjacent No. 219 KHH the Royal Oak public house;

c. just south east of No. 145 KHH

d. between Nos. 62 and 66 KHH

each speed table would be up to 12 metres in length including the gradients;
3. Introduce a 20 m.p.h. speed limit covering the roads or parts of roads mentioned in the Schedule to this Notice (in the case of all roads mentioned this would be reducing the speed limit from 30 m.p.h. except where specified in the Schedule);

4. Any person desiring to object to or to make any other representation with regards to the measures set out in items 1 and 2 above, or the Order mentioned in item 3 above should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to Traffic Orders, Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS or by emailing: traffic.scheme@walthamforest. gov.uk quoting reference T31a(20) - Drysdale region E4 - 20 m.p.h. speed limit zone by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

5.
