The Waltham Forest (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. 50) Order 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Waltham Forest on 27th August 2020 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be:
(a) to provide a designated disabled persons parking place measuring 6.6 metres In length (unless otherwise specified in the Schedule to this Notice) in each of the locations specified In the Schedule to this Notice, in most cases replacing advisory parking places, on the carriageway, footway or both;
(b) where any proposed designated disabled persons parking place referred to in sub-paragraph (a) above is longer than the advisory disabled persons parking place it is replacing or where there Is no existing advisory disabled persons parking place in the proposed location, to shorten any existing parking place or waiting restriction in that location by the length necessary to provide the disabled persons parking place; and
(c) In Langthorne Road E11, outside No. 41, to remove approximately 3 metres of 'LNN; CPZ permit holder parking space and replace it with double yellow line 'at any time' waiting restrictions.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation from 27th August 2020 and all other relevant documents can be inspected on request by emailing
during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays Inclusive or online at:https:// www.walthamforest.gov.uk/content/road-traffic-schemes-and-
consultatlons until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from that date.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of either of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the making of the Orders, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
